Kierikki Stone Age Centre is one of the world's largest log houses and an excellent example of modern log architecture. Built in Yli-Ii along the northern banks of the river Iijoki this unique hotel and the Stone Age village are situated in the middle of an expansive Stone Age settlement area, which was inhabited as far back as 7,000 years ago. At Kierikki's shop you can buy Stone Age style handicrafts.
